Woodbridge, Suffolk

The present Tide Mill was built in the 18th century and only stopped working in 1957, but history records a mill on this site since the 12th century, after being left in decay for many years the Mill was finally fully restored in 1982.

Another view of the Tide Mill with what looks like an Old Dutch barge in the front. The mills waterwheel still turns fed by a recently created pond which replaced the original huge mill pond when it was turned into a marina.
