This view shows the Granary, which stands along side the Tide Mill, and the myriad of small craft awaiting the next high tide.

The shipbuilding and allied industries flourished here as at most towns on the Suffolk coast and it is recorded that both Edward III in the 14th century and Drake in the 16th sailed in Woodbridge ships. There's still plenty of activity on and by the river as boats and barges of all shapes and sizes are moored on the river, some are used solely for pleasure or work and some are used as homes.
