John Baldry was born in England in about 1837 and set up a Sheep Station once he arrived in Victoria, Australia in 1862. Unfortuantely while out on his horse one day at the station his horse's foot got caught in a rabbit hole. The horse threw him and he fell to the ground. The horse then fell on top of him and crushed him. He was only about 50 years old at the time.
