My SMITH family ends with Alice Smith who married Adam BEST in 1878. The only other family members I have been able to trace is Alice's siblings and parents - her father Edward Smith is hard to pin down because he was a traveller and so does not appear with the family in the Census records.

Of her siblings the most easily traced is Alexander Smith, however she had 3 sisters Isabelle, Mary and Ann who too have been hard to trace.
