Walter Miller was a master confectioner based in Margate. Walter made a fair bit of money, he was a wheeler dealer del boy apparently (not sure how confectionery fits into this). Used to flog tvs/radios in Manchester and at the end of his life had a tv shop in London.

Folkard Pendle had been the Landlord at the Marquis of Cornwallis, Old Foundry Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, England. The building still stands but it is no long a pub.
